LDB Cannabis Operations plans for restart as strike action ends

The BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) is pleased with the announcement from the BC General Employees Union (BCGEU) that a tentative agreement has been reached. As of Monday, October 27, the LDB is resuming Cannabis operations following the conclusion of strike action.

The LDB looks forward to welcoming back employees and resuming operations in the distribution centres, Customer Care Centre, vendor supply chain-related services and BC Cannabis Stores.

LDB Cannabis Operations has developed restart plans and will work closely with our carriers to allocate additional resources for an expedited resumption of operations but the timing for a return to normal service levels will depend on the volume of orders received as operations resume. We appreciate your continued patience and flexibility as we work to restore services as quickly as possible.

Additional information will be shared tomorrow, October 27, including details on the resumption of ordering and other services as part of the restart.
