Important Service Update: 72-hour strike notice passed

We recognize the news of the 72-hour strike notice announced by the BC General Employees’ Union (BCGEU) and risk of possible job action continues to be concerning for customers, vendors and industry partners. It is entirely up to the BCGEU what form the strike action will take and when it will be initiated.

Bargaining is a dynamic process and while we do not know the extent of any possible job action, the BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB) will continue to take steps to minimize the immediate impacts to customers and industry partners. This includes continuing to maintain regular operations and customer service levels to the best of our ability during this time and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
