Update on Job Action at BC Liquor Distribution Branch (LDB)

On September 12, the BC General Employees Union (BCGEU) declared an overtime ban at LDB distribution centres and head office, as part of its ongoing job action. 

Cannabis operations will continue to take steps to maintain regular operations and customer service levels to the best of our ability during this time and provide timely updates to customers, LPs, and industry partners. 

We recognize that this job action may be concerning, and we will continue to provide updates on potential impacts to industry as they become known. Important notices will continue to be posted on the LDB Cannabis Operations website at www.bccannabiswholesale.com.
